What is Cultural Intelligence (CQ)?

A person¡¯s ability to adapt successfully to different national, organizational, and professional cultures.

CQ has 4 factors:
(1) Strategy
(2) Knowledge
(3) Motivation
(4) Behavior

In today's global and complex business environment, we need to manage people and organizations with different backgrounds, values and assumptions.

Cultural intelligence helps individuals and organizations
(i) overcome cultural barriers, and
(ii) synergize differences to achieve win-win outcomes.

"With the establishment of NTU's Center for Cultural Intelligence, NTU has taken a quantum leap into the future. A new future that's characterized by emerging research in cultural intelligence.
CCI will surely attract leading scholars from around the world."
